MACC participated in CARLA 2023

MACC was present at the Latin America High Performance Computing Conference 2023 (CARLA) through researcher João Barbosa, who was one of the leaders of the Advanced Computing Trends workshop.

The objectives of the session were to provide a space for the exchange of high-quality original research contributions on various aspects of advanced computing, e-science, disruptive computing, applications of HPC and advanced computing, quantum computing, large-scale and collaborative computing architectures, data science, and HPC trends.

Although the focus was on work done in Latin America, space was given to other contributors on a wide range of topics. In João Barbosa's case, the topics were "In-Situ Scientific Visualization Techniques in the Exascale Era" and "Empowering Exascale Scientific Visualization Through In-Situ Techniques".

The Latin America High-Performance Computing Conference 2023 is the largest HPC conference in Latin America, bringing together researchers from around the world.
