MACC is strengthening the cooperation with the Portuguese Navy

Our researcher João Barbosa was invited by the Portuguese Navy to visit the tenth edition of REPMUS, which took place between September 12-22 in Tróia, Portugal.

REPMUS 2022 is Portugal's largest annual robotics exercise that brings together international navies and academic and industrial research institutions to test and put into practice technologies and concepts that allow for more efficient operations. Around 1500 military and civilian personnel from NATO and partner countries got together for two marine exercises to test the interoperability of new maritime unmanned systems.

This visit comes in the sequence of straightening of cooperation between MACC and the Portuguese Navy to train their personnel in high-performance computing.
