3rd edition of the Call for Advanced Computing Projects

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) launched the third edition of the Call for Advanced Computing Projects.  This call aims to strengthen the national technological and scientific system through Advanced Computing resources for Research and Innovation, in collaboration with MACC and three other operational centers (LCA-UC, HPC-UÉ, and INCD).

The deadline to apply for A0 and A1 is May 31, 2023.

The National Network for Advanced Computing (RNCA), managed by FCT, will hold an informative session on March 28th, at 12 p.m. In this session, users with and without advanced computing experience will be able to clarify their doubts about the two types of applications that are still open: A0 - Experimental Access and A1 - Preparatory or Development Access. The registration for this session are now open. Register here.

RNCA seeks to aggregate the national advanced computing resources, promoting cooperation between the various centers involved and developing national and international partnerships with other entities. Under the terms of the Regulations for Advanced Computing Projects, published under no. 10/2022 at Diário da República, the allocation of RNCA computing resources is carried out following a competitive call whose terms are published on this website.
