4th edition of the Call for Advanced Computing Projects

The 4th edition of the Call for Advanced Computing Project, launched by the Foundation for Science and Technology, is now open. With applications for the Deucalion supercomputer, type A3, due by 8 February, the call is open to researchers, scientists and institutions from all over the country in a wide range of fields, including biology, medicine, engineering and social sciences. The teams should be experienced and the scientific or innovation projects should require significant resources.

The RNCA is hosting an online information session on access to the Deucalion supercomputer on 31 January, at 12 p.m. Registration is now open and mandatory.

Applications to the call must be submitted via the FCT online platform and must meet the defined regulations, which will be applied by a panel of national and international experts with proven experience in the scientific areas of the submitted applications.

The final results will be announced in May 2024. Applications for the remain typologies remain open until May 30, 2024.
