About MACC

The MACC is a member of the National Network for Advanced Computing, which aims to support the academic and business communities in the High-Performance Computing (HPC) field. The main goal is to ensure the community’s access to computational resources capable of promoting innovation in all areas of the science and business domain, thus accelerating the finding and development of new products or scientific breakthroughs.

Currently, MACC is offering the following positions:

Sysadmin

  • Installation, maintenance, upgrades and issue resolution related to MACC's advanced computing infrastructure;

  • Configuration and administration of the resource and workload management systems (Slurm or others);

  • User support;

  • Support and participation in technical meetings related to projects where MACC is involved.

HPC DevOps Engineer

  • Help users to containerize applications for HPC environment;

  • Develop, deploy and enhance middleware tools and APIs to connect external services to Deucalion;

  • Develop and operate web front-ends for HPC, including both central portal for users and HPC center administration; or for remote web access to Deucalion;

  • Support and participation in technical meetings related to projects where MACC is involved;

  • User Support.
