MACC participated in Jornadas FCCN 2023

MACC participated in this year’s edition of Jornadas FCCN, an event that gathered specialists from different fields of knowledge, as computing, innovation, connectivity and security. Our researcher João Barbosa represented MACC, presenting Deucalion, in a session dedicated to updates on the national advanced computing network (RNCA). 

Also present were Susana Caetano, from FCT - FCCN, who presented the indicators of advanced computing competitions; Catarina Guerreiro, from FCT - FCCN, responsible for the 2nd edition of the Artificial Intelligence in Could Competition; Jorge Gomes, from INCD/LIP, who presented Computing and Data Projects on digital Twin; and Elana Araújo, responsible for the dissemination of the EuroCC2 Project: Online Competition on Supercomputing.

This year’s edition was held in Almada, between 27th and 29th of June, with support from the Nava Academy. The goal of the event was to foster the dialogue about topics related to the areas of activity of the FCCN Unit.
